After his first interception the rant will be calling for a change . Nuss is not fools Gold he is the real deal a Diamond in the rough just needs to be cut and polished.

He’s Baker Mayfield but he has a bigger arm than Baker. That’s a compliment btw.

Should be good, but a little anxious to see how well he can escape pressure and take big hits in SEC play

Hope we have him for the next 2 years so that we have a nice hand off in 2026 for Underwood.

With that said, if Nuss goes in draft after this season, it most likely means we had a damn good season.

When he throws a bad INT, the bus will go directly to the scrapyard. Just wait for the melt.

He’s a gunslinger, which has risk/reward… Home he’s ready and matured

took burrow a full year and Jayden several years starting to get to heisman level. Nuss may not win the Heisman til next year.

I remember hearing a radio interview with Nussmeier when he was still in high school and thinking “damn, this kid gets it.” Super mature, humble, and all-around impressive for a high school kid at the time.

That said, I can’t imagine the pressure he must be under right now. Not only is he following up a Heisman trophy winner, he’ll have the most hyped HS QB recruit at LSU since Ryan Perilloux on his heels next spring. If he struggles at all (which, let’s be honest, should not be surprising for a first time starter) there will be a segment of the fanbase that immediately moves on to Underwood.

I agree.

This kid has special arm talent. As with any gunslinger he will make spectacular throws and some interceptions.
