Taking my son to Boy Scout camp next week and was looking to take him somewhere fun after for a day or two. Thought about bringing him up to St Louis after but open to anything. Anyone have some suggestions?

Johnson Shut In, Taum Sauk Mtn, Elephant Rocks. Have an outfitter take you up for a paddle somewhere, anywhere around there.

If you have the time make a trip over to Van Buren, MO and visit Big Springs where upwards of 300 million gallons a day bubble up out of the ground. Some good floats there too but also a lot of boat traffic, especially on weekends.

St Louis has Grant’s Farm, which has the Budweiser Clydesdales. It was a great tour. Learning about their Clydesdales program was amazing. Gotta book a reservation.

I looked into Merack Cavern (cave tour) but didn’t get there.

Cardinals game is fun.

How old is your son? City Museum is so much fun in St Louis. Adults even have a blast in there. I agree with Cardinals game or even go to an St Louis City soccer game. I heard the soccer stadium is beautiful. We haven’t been yet. Grants Farm is fun. If you do Grants Farm definitely do the Clydesdale Tour. The zoo and the science museum are free and really nice. You can drive through Lone Elk Park which is fun to see all the elk.

He is 11. It looks like there are no home games for the Cardinals or the St. Louis city unfortunately.
