Looking for opinions on an event in Houston Monday/Tuesday

I am having an event in Kingwood Monday night with a lot of people flying in throughout the day. I am wondering if the storm is going to cause a problem. I know it’s not definitive but just looking for opinions. The event is substantial in costs.

Forecast for now is about 50% chance of rain. Beryl appears to be slowing down. For now I think Monday night would be OK. That could change significantly in the next 24 hours.

It will likely ruin your multi-level marketing meet-up.

This “event” sounds gay

Certain parts of Kingwood floods from the San Jac so depends on where your event is a t.

You're having an "event" in Houston and you didn't invite the OT??!!?

It’s really outside of Kingwood, it’s fairly close to George Bush. Not worried about flooding. Some concerns about winds delaying/canceling flights. I know it won’t be hurricane winds are anything like that but let’s face it, flights get delayed all the time for summer storms.

You are good to go. I live in Kingwood, as does BigBerg and a few others on here.
What do you have going on and where?

It’ll be hot and humid and maybe raining. Basically just like everyday in Houston from April to November.

Close to IAH you’ll be fine but flight delays may be an issue

At the country club or what? What time should we show up?

Yes, but Lochinvar. So you’re definitely not invited, and no women.
