Interesting tweet from Matt Wallace about the hurricane.
Is this a distraction tactic because of that disaster of a performance in the debate? Notice it’s hitting Texas, the Biden admin would want to punish a big red state just like Texas. How convenient for them that all the sudden a cat 4 hurricane is barreling towards Texas right after the worst debate performance in the history of our country. These libs are pulling out all the stops and it’s honestly sickening.

The conditions are favorable for a very active hurricane season. Beryl took advantage of favorable conditions. There’s nothing more to it than that. No one engineered it. It’s very possible that the center of Beryl won’t even make landfall in Texas. It’s also likely that Beryl will only be a tropical storm or Cat. 1 hurricane when it makes landfall somewhere near the Texas/Mexico border.

Won't be a cat 4, much less a cat 1 once it gets into the gulf.

What does the Biden administration have to gain with storm recovery?
George HW Bush botched the Andrew response and Clinton took advantage of it.
In 2005, Bush and Blanco both botched the response to Katrina. It was so bad Blanco did not run for re election.
In 2020 and 2021, both Trump to an degree and Biden botched both of those responses and recovery to where 3-4 years later some government agencies are still waiting for definitive answers on recovery projects.
Heck the government is so slow, that FEMA is still processing or making decisions on reimbursements on Katrina recovery projects.
