I applied RM43 which has done real good except for this one thing that is powering through it in a few places?
Is this a sedge and if so what best to eradicate it?

Yes, Yellow Nutsedge. I use sedgehammer, but there’s many products that also work. Ortho and Image for Nutsedge work pretty well too. It will take about a week for it to fully work so just be patient.

There is nothing but dirt around it.
Hit it with Roundup and move on.
And yes, it is nutsedge.

I mean he said in the OP he hit the area with glyphosate and imazapyr so he was going for dirt.

That whole fence line was hit with Round Up before the RM43. Round Up was but a pimple on its arse.
As was the RM43.

Did you use a surfactant when you applied the gyphosate?l

He said Round Up, so who knows if the active ingredient is actually glyphosate. I would venture to say it's not.

I've found that 30% cleaning vinegar kills nutsedge better than Roundup, but nutsedge roots get so widespread that the sprouts always seem to come back.
Ortho Nutsedge Killer for Lawns has been pretty useless.

Do you find sedgehammer or certainty works better for longer term suppression?
I will agree that the Ortho Nutsedge Killer does kill it, but it always seems to come right back.

I've never found anything that eradicates nutsedge for very long.
