For the 8 years of Governor John bel Edwards, I do not recall Walt ever making a character of John bel, but Jeff Landry becomes governor let’s take the gloves off and hit him like Bobby Jindal.

You don’t expect these people to be non biased? They don’t even attempt to hide it anymore, not that they ever really did a very good job of it in the past, but they have zero shame these days.

Walt’s pretty even handed. He’s been at this a long time and has lampooned many democrats. His style is not so much a gotcha, or even lol funny very often, but he correctly sizes up an issue in cartoon form.
Thats what he did here. Maybe you think making schools post the 10 Commandments passes constitutional muster, but many don’t and the issue is obviously headed to the SCOTUS.

Well, he’s in his 70’s and has been doing this for over 40 years. And he works mainly for The S’Advocate. Maybe he’s taking a page from Millennials and “quietly quitting”. Isn’t that what the hip kids are calling it these days?

I actually haven’t read a newspaper, much less had a subscription, in many years. But Walt must have changed since I read his cartoons in the 1980’s and 90’s.
