Now this should be interesting good for the Big schools given more up and coming coaches a opportunity. Who will LSU add first?

I wouldn’t mind that. Good special teams coach and a great recruiter.

I think the huge staffs were a failed experiment. Smaller is better.

The rich will get richer and someone will find the loophole. It will be up to the programs if they want to commit an extra million + to coaching staffs to add more position coaches and let the coordinators oversee the sides of the ball as a whole.

Uhhh I’d go hire badger, PP, etc to some random consulting/player relations positions only for the offseason

I know BK downsized the admin staff because he didn’t believe that more is better. Florida on the other hand basically had more admin than players. Didn’t help Billy much

The key will be to find a correct balance. If Baker knows of someone worth their salt to be an asset LB coach, that would be a start. Another QB coach too.

I agree with these 2 and probably 1 extra for recruiting.

Does this extend to recruiting or just actual “coaching”? I’m assuming it’s the latter, and full recruiting duties will still be limited to the 10 “on-field” assistants?

If so, I don’t think this changes much. “Analysts” have basically been acting as actual assistant coaches for several years anyway.
