The Mummy is a masterpiece and should not be a "guilty pleasure."
Sahara is absolutely a guilty pleasure.

Sorry my photo isn't showing. Not sure what I did wrong.

The Mummy is one of those movies I watch whenever I see it on. Saw Sahara once and thought it was good but the Mummy is way better IMO.

Sahara has always been a guilty pleasure. Everything that happens in that movie is retarded, and I love it.
Also peak Penelope Cruz..

It’s a shame Hollywood never really did a decent Dirk Pitt franchise.

agreed - the books in which he is the character are generally pretty good - it could have been a franchise

Cussler is one of my favorite authors, but the studios always want to change too much from the books.

The Dirk Pitt fandom wiki is interesting
There is a 33 pic album there too.

The quality has fallen off considerably since his son started writing them.

I always thought the Oregon Files would have made a good popcorn franchise with The Rock as Cabrillo, the protagonist. Shame it'll never happen.
