Have killed almost 25 today and it’s been 5-10 every day for the last week or so. Where should we look for the nest or whatever is causing this?

Buy some fly traps.

Or make one. Cut the top off an empty water bottle so the top can be inverted and placed back on. Have some type of bait in the bottom.

We have some of the plug in ones. We are killing then constantly. There has to be a “nest” or a source for how they are getting in the house. 90% have been killed in the kitchen.

We checked pantry but no food gone bad.

Walmart bag traps. Over by the bbq stuff. Home Depot has em right up front. All the same and work good.
We put out two last week. Each have almost an inch of dead fly inside and our patio flies are down maybe 80-90%. Still been cooking out too.

Will go do this! Do fear we have a ton at back patio and they are gradually coming in when the door opens.

This will wipe their azz out. Just make sure to bait out of reach of pets/kids.

That's how it happens at my house. The wife and her daughter go in and out at least 10 times a day on the weekends and even if they hurry back into the house, the door is open several seconds a pop and that is enough time for flies to gain entrance.

My fly swatter has gotten a bit of a workout this year. And heaven forbid if I start grilling with the offensive little bastards doing their best to mess with the food and utensils.

Numerous flies often mean that you have something rotting in or near your house that is infested with maggots. Kitchen waste may be the problem, or a dead animal or pet droppings. Different species of fly go after different things to lay eggs in.

If the source is inside the house, you might smell it but not always. I once had a dead rat under a sideboard and never smelled anything but did notice the flies for a while.

If the body of the fly is metallic blue or green, it's a carrion fly. Even small dead mice or small bird below a window can crank out lots of their maggots.

Good news is that once the source is consumed or dries out the maggots and the flies go away.

We been having the same problem. Our trash can was too close to one of our entrances. And by too close I mean about 30 ft away. I moved it around the corner of the house and it seems to have helped. Haven’t had a fly in a couple days. Also been more conscious snot how long the doors stay open

I think it’s pet feces close to the back patio door. We scrubbed through every possible source inside the house and not finding anything. Trash in the garage doesn’t have any flies in or around it. I bought the bag that will hang from a tree…expecting this thing creates a storm of flies

The flies are bad this year. We’ve been battling them for over a month.
