Good places to eat in Branson

Going next month
Looked at some YT vids and looks like a lot of ‘family’ fare
Going with some buddies and wondering if theres any different restaurants worth the effort

I went to Black Oak grill and I really enjoyed it. We also had a surprisingly good meal at Landry's and Guys

Osage at Big Cedar is good if you want an upscale joint.

Just went a few weeks back. Did not stay at a golf resort, and there were not many good options.

We ate at Paula Dean's restaurant and I believe Guy Fieri has a place near the river. Paula Deans was good.
I would like to try the Big Cedar Lodge place.
Looked like some decent places by the river where the water fountain show was.

Billy Gails for breakfast. There are a couple. I have only been to the original on Hwy 265.

Did Black Oak Grill for lunch with large group. Good food and service. Prime Rib Dip sandwich was great. Wish I had time to walk around and check out the stores but was working. Good liquor store about 5 minutes away.

Is branson the kinda place where they got an ordinance that every restaurant in the municipality has to be a chain?

Of course there's a lot of chains in Branson but neither of the places I suggested are chains.
