My opinion is that it is very undervalued. It is finally seeing it's first couple of quarters of profitability but the stock has been in a nosedive since it's IPO in 2021. Currently at $6.50 a share. I don't think it's matching up with the companies reality. They are growing members at a very healthy rate compared to other banks and innovative (mostly younger members). YOY member growth of 44% currently. I like it as a longer term hold at the current price it seems promising.

I think SoFi will remain undervalued on paper due to their large amount of personal and student loans. Those are not asset backed loans and will be the first to default in a recession.

Granted last time I looked the company they did not focus on the sub prime type of customers. Still their business is inherently more risky than traditional

I don't believe they have any physical locations - though I could be wrong. If indeed they don't have that overhead + if the YOY growth you say is true, then they seem to be a pretty nice spot, in my opinion.

Just FYI since I posted this I bought a position at 6.50 while it was low. It bumped up 5.3% today and is up to 7.37 looks like it finally may be making a turn with its earning report coming at the end of the month!

I bought 1000 shares in march and this thread made me go back and check my limit buy order price which was $7.35 so 4 months later im now break even

The fair value I’ve seen and price targets on Morningstar reports is $13 though so still holding out for it to double up
