I just watched a great interview about Ja’boree Antoine on Louisiana Football Magazine. He is currently ranked as the number one cornerback in the U.S. for football and is committed to LSU!

Jaboree is a bad dude and I'm ecstatic to have him committed but he is not ranked as the #1 corner.

In our hearts!!

But seriously he'll be a good one. Get him and DJ Pickett as two of the CBs and then you're in business.

A video with Lee talking with him. A good overall interview!
Westgate brings great talent, Coach Kelly and staff keeping them in state!
Be sure to like the video!

Enjoy

Any Louisiana or Mississippi three star DB is a Tex/Fla 4 star.

I said it.

Antoine is a La 4Star.

That’s what Roser & Spiegelman were saying last week. Pretty sure it was him. I’ll have to go back & listen

I’m not too high on the kid!! Nothing about him says 4 or 5 star athlete!! His explosiveness, his technique, just don’t see anything that shows he’s a big time athlete. I hope he develops into that but the games I’ve watched him in person I haven’t been impressed. Just my opinion but I hope he turns into a baller for us!!

Here's something.

He was injured early in the regular season last year vs. Calvary Baptist.

Came back in the playoffs at QB and nearly led his team to a comeback win at Ruston, which eventually won state.

I believe this is an accurate summary. He didn't start the Ruston game at QB, but once they fell behind by 2-plus TDs, he came in and they ended up losing by a couple of points.

There was a controversial two-point conversion that Westgate had wiped out by penalty late in the game. That's the breaks when you're on the road.

The conclusion is that the kid is definitely a winner.

I like winners, don’t get me wrong, but prefer freak athletes.

I’m not trying to argue, but what’s the evidence that he isn’t a freak athlete?

Played QB & CB vs tough competition. He doesn’t have testing numbers that I’m aware of, but he’s been known for a long time

quote:

For fans looking for a player to watch in the future, keep an eye on Jabore Antoine of the 10U team. “Jabore is Mr. Everything for us,” said Lundy, his head coach. “He’s the quarterback and a linebacker. I guarantee you he has 60 to 70 percent of our tackles. He makes the offense go. He’s very intelligent and football savvy. The most impressive thing about him is his drive. We haven’t seen a kid faster than him yet. He scored on the first play of the game last week. He has the same potential or better than his uncle (D’Nerius Antoine), who played at Southern Miss.

The name was spelled wrong, but you get the point. That’s from 2018.
