What’s scary is they’re going to sell in Chinese currency which will make them the sole superpower

Yeah, cause the Chinese will not manipulate the Yuan. You know what drives the Chinese economy? The US consumption of their goods.

When you add in the per capita output of our manufacturing, we're in the top 10 (IIRC). There is no nation that produces the mix of volume and value that we do.

Yeah that's the catch 22

Devalue the yuan, and nobody will accept the yuan for goods in time.

Don't devalue the yuan, and China's export economy dissolves.

That's why this is doomed to fail.

What do we manufacture? What is a "share of global manufacturing"?

Everything is made overseas - I assume defense spending is categorized as manufacturing, which is here in the US. At $109M per fighter can add up pretty quickly.

Per usual, SFP can only see 1" deep through the water of the pond and decides, its just an 1" deep cause that is what he can see.

Who blames anybody for doing this, when the Dems just print and hand out TRILLIONS, many to people that hate the US. And devaluing the dollar by the day.

Everywhere and everything is collapsing under this fraud imbecile in the Oval Office. Try as they can to portray this dementia patient in cognitive as fully functional and engaged the reality of his sad condition keeps rising to the surface. The latest embarrassing incident - Potatus wanders off from the group of G-7 dignitaries. The Prime Minister of Italy is seen herding him back to the group. Total disconnect.

We manufacture a lot, but some of which is just final assembly of cheap Chinese and Japanese components.

That is why we were screwed when the epidemic hit and China slowed manufacturing of certain components.
