Mid to late 90’s was a great time to be a student and get to watch some really great teams. Good thing cause our football team was less than desirable during that time for most years….still never missed a game though.

I was 11 years old. I taped the whole game for my dad who couldn't get out of work, pressing pause on the vcr remote to cut out the commercials so we could rewatch it together when he got home.

I got lucky. I was working in Kansas City and took off a couple of days off of work and witnessed the game against Wichita State at the old Johnny Rosenblatt ball park. They love LSU fans there. Awesome weekend. Met Todd Walker. Good times

I CLEANED UP in the 9-10 y/o boys division of the regional swim meet in Houma that morning and when Jim Hawthorne called Walker's 1st inning homer on WWL on the ride home I knew we were gonna coast.
