Is this a good place to live? Not necessarily in KC proper but just in general. Nice suburbs? Good things to do? Good food?

I’d imagine winters are cold but summers are mild compared to the south.

Overland Park and the Country Club Plaza area are both nice. Overland more of a suburb, Plaza more city

Generally speaking. If I look at a map of the KC metro, which areas do I avoid?

Are you going to need someone to hold your hand while there?

What about Olathe? Heard of that one
Ideally I want some land within an hour of downtown.

Used to have an office in Lenexa. Overland Park and Olathe are your best bets.

Went there for the Packers/Chiefs game a few years ago (Packers won ) and it was a nice medium sized city. Weather can be extreme but there's plenty to do, centrally located in the country, and reasonable home prices.

That’s what it’s looking like. On another note KC is clearly superior to STL. Right?

I'd choose KC ten times out of ten.

Missouri baw here and If I had to choose one to live in, no question it would be KC.

Let me ask this properly without getting banned.

How is the demographical makeup of KC overall? We talking favorable demographics or culture?

Yeah there are some nice places around the metro. Solid food too.

Does meth qualify as a culture?

I’m seeing a ton of BBQ spots. Seems legit. Might have to keep KC in the cards down the road

Nope meth is a different culture entirely but something of note nonetheless

How’s Lee’s Summit?

If there’s a pawn shop or pay day loan place within a mile, probably best to avoid.

You'll need to get out of the metro though. Maybe as far away as Louisburg.
