I take it mayers was the guy last year with the high 90’s fastball. Looking at his stats this year he walks a lot of guys. SO’s are very good though, and only 39 hits in 70 innings.

We all thought Mayers would be a portal entry after the season he had last year as a freshman. I’d say it’s likely he enters after losing his coach. He needs to prove his ability against SEC competition and that could definitely increase his draft stock!

Jacob would not be a weekend starter. It will be hard for him to pitch in the SEC. Walks too many guys! SEC Hitters make you pay!
