I read that Tolkien originally had Sam tackle Gollum and they both plunged into Mount Doom. I keep wondering if i would have liked that ending better.

Did all three this weekend.
We did the 8:45 showing of Two Towers on Sunday. Didn't get home until almost 1am. Got home after 11 last night. I may take a nap at work today.
