I enjoy the melts from Killernut and boxerrumble on here.

I have a feeling the Steelers will do something with the Fields/Wilson QB combo.
Now, will it last? Who knows.
But something is changing at Pitt.

When you look at the history of the Steelers franchise with the Rooney family, stability is highly valued.
Noll: 23 years
Cowher: 15 years
Tomlin: 17 years
What they don’t have right now is stability at the QB position, and that is now worth more than it ever has been in league history.

you have to admire the steelers for sticking with their guys especially when you realize it's a coveted position for a storied franchise

Cowher didn’t win a SB till 2005, his 14th season as HC. From 1998-2000, went 7-9; 6-10; 9-7 with no playoff appearances. Marty Schottenheimer was shown the door out of Cleveland, Kansas City, and San Diego after three season stretches with better success than that.

Better put KillerNut and Boxxerrumble on suicide watch.

Wilson is pretty much washed and Fields can't play the position.
Gonna have to rely on the defense

Congrats on future suckage, Steeler fans

That guy should be in the HOF for managing Antonio Brown’s dumbass for 6 years

Or they evaluated the talent that was out there, looked again, and maybe even a third time and decided they didn't want any of the alternatives. Not that they couldn't afford them, but the way NFL football is changing, better just hold on the the guy that their players don't hate.

There needs to be a Sports Psychology wing added to the HOF, and Tomlin added as the first inductee.

Does the Rooney rule also preclude firing black dudes that are just going through the motions?

The Steelers have had 3 coaches in the last 55 years. They aren’t going to fire a guy without the bottom falling out
