Any recommendations.
We are taking older teens to Bryson City the 4th of July week.
The only thing I know for certain is the white water rafting and zip lines. They have tubing, biking and hiking.
Any food or other recommendations are appreciated.

Enjoy a beer at Bryson City Outdoors. Cool spot.

The Nantahala Outdoor Center is right down the road. The Appalachian Trail passes right through it, so you can hike on that in either direction for as long as you want.
You can schedule all kinds of activities through them as well. They have a legit kayaking course there. It can be fun watching folks navigate that if you want to take a break and just hang out for a bit.

The Rice Wagon is a very very good food truck that sets up next to Mountain Layers Brewing.
Grab a cupcake from Honey Bear's.

Rent a pontoon and spend a day on the lake. Lots of clear fresh water.
If you have any MTB ability rent a bike and check out the Tsali trail network. I'd recommend you not do the trails at the NOC unless your highly skilled.

Pretty good food truck that sets up in front of BC Outdoors. I can’t recall the name but it has a Grateful Dead theme or something similar.

Head up to Deep Creek Campground. They have miles of great hiking trails. Nice picnicking area. Area where the local tubing companies start.

We used to go to Nantahala Brewing when out running the Dragon but I guess they changed ownership and are now Bryson City Brewing. I can't speak on the new place but if it's similar to the old place they'll have decent brews and food. Soda Pop's Ice Cream Shop was another stop for us.

Go to Fontana Lake and rent a pontoon boat from Alarka Marina. Tube, drive out to the dam and back, enjoy the cold water.

Are the three Tsali trails the same thing as NOC? I did the left and right loops last summer and it damn near killed me.
