That specific play did not lose the game.

How do you know? You can’t quantify it. We were going to have 1st and 3rd with top of the order up..

It hurt but the 3 run bomb is what lost it. I jinxed us. Add that to the jinx thread.

I literally said “1 bad pitch by one of these pitchers will lose the game”. The next pitch the guy hit it to the wall. I said almost like that. Then it seemed the very next pitch.

Umps…this is baseball…they are umpires not refs. And outside of the interference call and the Larson K, they were non-factors. They didn’t swing at the first pitch like White or ground into a dp like Trav.

Uh, this is baseball and they're called "umps".

Sorry, that call was terrible but I can’t blame the umps when we get one hit with a RISP.

Yeah, different refs and we would’ve definitely scored more points

We don’t know how it would have shaken out, but it let the pitcher off the hook in the middle of a big stress inning. The likelihood is that we knock him out earlier and get to the pen sooner. Even if we still lose their own is a little worse off than it is currently.

Haha, yes. We needed the refs to call holding on the offense. They were grabbing our player’s jerseys all day.

That charging call was absurd. The second baseman clearly did not establish position.

They also missed roughing the pitcher in the fifth and seventh innings.
