Half the team should take notes from Milam and Jones. Jones took walks when they gave them to him, and pounced when they put it there. Others just trying to hit HRs every at bat and popping up constantly. No reason a sinker baller should’ve given us that much trouble.

For the first time in a while I can remember, jones worked 2 full count walks ( if I remember correctly). He was patient. Hell of a game.

yep, iirc, and I may be wrong, didn't he start off the post season last year struggling a little at first and all of a sudden he and the team started hitting on all cylinders? would love to see him get hot and everyone else stay hot
