Black bears have taken out my chickens

Anyone else have this experience? My state allows for the dispatching of bears that are destroying property, all of which has been well documented this morning.
I would like to take it out as this mother and yearling have now taken out at least 4 other flocks in our neighborhood, and when there supply of fowl is gone, who knows what they will get into.
I have no experience tracking or hunting them. All i know is my game cam caught them at 4:30 am. Any advice on where to start would be appreciated.
I will have my vengence one way or another.

I love hunting but I don't know if I'd kill the bear over my chickens
If there was a season then work around that.

What state are you in? Are they ripping open your coop?

Maybe put an electric fence around your coup.
I wouldn't feel vengeful, they are animals doing animal things.
If you catch them on your property, and have evidence of them killing your chickens like you said, then do what you gotta do if the rules allow it.
I wouldn't go all Daniel Boone on them though.

When I was a kid my dad had a job building a resort in the North Georgia mountains and we lived in a mobile home park in Dawsonville (where NASCAR was born). We spent most weekends in Atlanta because it was Dawsonville in 1972 and why in hell would your spend a weekend in Dawsonville in 1972? More times than I can recount we would get home late Sunday night and the headlights would shine several bears raiding garbage cans, including ours. It was my job to clean that shite up....I hated those damned bears. My dad finally taught them to leave ours alone. There was a booger light close to ours with an outlet at the bottom. He took a piece of romex, stripped one conductor on each end, plugged that bare wire into the hot side of that outlet and tie wrapped the other stripped end around the lip of the plastic can. That night those bears bellowed and grunted and screamed like they were being ground up in a wood chipper....and NEVER fricked with that can again.....they would raid other cans in the area but never touched ours again. If they are getting in the chicken coop try it and film it....it will probably be funnier than hell.

I’ve never hunted bears, but it sounds like it wouldn’t be hard considering you already know what they’re after. I’d get a couple more chickens or even some raw chicken from the store, put them in something that will take a little bit of effort to get into (to give you some time for a shot), and set up a couple cell cams that will catch them coming toward the bait. The cell cams aren’t necessary if you’re willing to hide out and wait all night, but I’d just stay up and watch tv until I got an alert and sneak out, or open a window, and shoot them.

I imagine you'd feel different if they were as plentiful as racoons. Not sure if thats OP situ though.

You should see what they do to the fawn crop..
Yeah, it's OK to kill predators and that's what these are doing.

Your local Wildlife and Fish agency won’t trap and relocate it?

Steam cleaner transformer, low amperage but around 75,000 volts. They will throw an arc over an inch

Chicken. No buzzards here.
