Beat UT and the only thing keeping us from hosting a regional is the way the schedule aligned. Spread out some of those early series and this team is host lock.

We don't want to host a regional at this point because we'd be #16. That would match us with #1 overall for supers.

Of D1 Baseball's current regional projections, I would prefer to be the 2 seed in the Oklahoma (7) Regional. It is paired with Virginia (10) in the Supers.

For sure. I'd take that pairing. Good chance that we could back into hosting a super that way. And IMO if VA were to win their regional I think the Tigers take them should we advance.

Spread them out or not you are still looking at a 13-17 team in the SEC

It's a trade off. The easier the Region host you get the harder the Super host would likely be. The tougher the Regional host...the easier the potential Super match-up would be. At least on paper.

If we can keep swinging the bats the way we have lately, I don't think that there's a team in the country that can beat us in a best of 3 series. Our big bats have hardly left a mark and we are averaging over 10 runs per game in the SECT.
Obviously we will get some aces pitching in that format but I am glad that our offense has taken that next step and refuses to lay down and quit.
