I had plans to cook, but between that insane LSU game and hot water heater issues (which are only relevant because our house is really old and strangely put together, so the HWH is behind the stove), I kicked that can down the road until tomorrow.

We ordered Chinese instead.

Steamed dumplings, Sesame chicken, and beef lo mein.

We will be having wine, cheese, meats, crackers, and fruit for dinner.

I started the smoker yesterday at around 4 and it has hardly had a break, poor thing

Had a big’ ole cheeseburger from The Yard Goat in Lafayette, so had a bowl of Cheerios Cinnamon Oat Crunch…

Sunday School gathering to say goodbye to a nice couple who have been very good friends. Lots of really good food and sadness that they are leaving.
