A really nice collection of guitar tab books...Internet Archive.

Guitar Tab Collections

I found this the other day, and it's got a ton of great tab books.

You can download them in PDF format.

Just thought some of the guitarists might enjoy.

Here's a couple I got:

Really like their guitar finishes. Can't believe I don't own 1 yet.
Got any photos?

Was super excited to see a Beatles one on there - first one I clicked. And...it's not tab.

I've used Archive for years for the live show recordings. I had no idea there was more.

I loved when I clicked on the acid bath book and the first instructions were “tune down 2 full steps”

Can I cop metal tones from a telecaster thru an ac-15? I’ll stack a few drive pedals…

To a C? I think the lowest I ever knew about was C#. Anthrax has an awesome song called "Keep It in the Family" that's tuned to C#.

You really couldn't give it any designation like that.
Each string would be tuned down 2 whole steps from standard tuning. So playing an A chord would really be an F chord, B would become a G, C would be Ab, D would become Bb and so on.
Same for every note.
I'm about to try it on one of my Tellies, but I think I'm gonna get string rattle. They all have close action.

Edit: Works better than I thought it would. Sounds kind of bad arse TBH especially if I mute the strings slightly with my right hand.
I don't have a distortion pedal, but I bet that would be some crack of doom shite.
I'm gonna play with this for a while. I've never tuned down this low. I usually play tuned down 1/2 step and a whole step for some things.
This aint bad though.

P.S. You can tune to an open C, the top string just won't be a root note. From the top you tune E-G-C-G-C-E
You could tune it C-G-E-G-C-E, but I've never done it that way. I don't know why.
I really do know why. I never wanted to change string tension that much, so I used the E-G-C-G-C-E

I'm using my Telly with Fret shack's P90 telly set. It sounds awesome. playing out of A minor( would really be F minor now). I'm about to try it on my Telly with the '62 pickups. Probably run it through my blues driver pedal, since that's the only pedal I have right now
Damn, that sounds bad arse too. Guess I'm going to start tuning like this some.
I'm afraid to try it on my LPjr. with the split mini humbucker. It may ruin me forever.

This is what makes guitars so great. You never run out of new crap to try.

Beautiful. How are you liking it?
In your photo, the bridge pickup doesn't appear to be gold plated, Is that just the lighting?
