Just East of Sherwood forest in Baton Rouge.

We've been parked for 20 minutes. Use some other road if you plan on making it home...

Closed eastbound before Walker. Must have been a bad wreck as there were loads of emergency vehicles headed there when I drove by (westbound) 30 minutes ago.

Thoughts and prayers.

I got caught up in something all four days that I’ve drove back-and-forth from New Iberia to Hammond

I wish they’d start tossing people in jail when they cause wrecks that back up traffic for miles

Or take off limbs

Maybe people would get off their phones or not drive like douchebags weaving in and out of traffic like they own the highway

We were less than 50 yards from wreck and got stuck.

Motorcycle ended up 100 yards from collision site. Guy was in the middle. And helicoptered out.

There was a 3 vehicle wreck on I-210 the other day in Lake Charles too that resulted in 3 deaths. Vehicle just hit the one in front of them, then crossed the median and hit another vehicle head on. No way you just hit the car in front of you under normal conditions unless you are staring at your phone.

One day a couple of years ago I decided to cross Coursey to pick up some stuff at Dollar Tree. The ground is slightly elevated next to the sidewalk and I noticed that in every vehicle passing by that 95% of people were not looking at the road but at a phone. I knew the number of drivers doing that was high, but this was ridiculous.

Btw, for logistics Coursey is a high traffic (at this time around 6pm) two lane road in Baton Rouge..
