We've left 4 runners in scoring position, but have driven 3 in. Not a terrible ratio. Bingham's AB hurt the most. Trav looked like he had a 2-RB single before Condon made that nice play.

But to your point, it sure would be nice to get up by 6 or 7. I really don't know what Jay's plan is with Jump and the pen. Going 2 days early, you'd have to think he'd be on a shorter pitch count. But him starting at all seems to indicate Jay is treating this as a must win. I think we see Little and Herring in some order if the game is even remotely close.

Walking the bottom of their order isn't what we need with the power they have at the top of it

We need a double play ball badly here. Can't lose the early momentum and Jump's pitch count can't climb too high.
