I feel like Vandy could be in trouble with a loss today. They haven’t ended the season well and don’t have a high quality series win to hang their hat on like Florida does.

That Vandy series loss is the worst one for us, to me.

They aren't good, and didn't even play well that weekend. We just gave away a game.

Mike, do you feel that secures TCU in? Or still more work to do. I believe Louisville is out if they do not advance out their pod, and I believe that Ga Tech may be in a similar situation. Kansas state is out if they go 0-2 and they get a tough West Virginia team next.

I think it puts them in good shape, but I think their fate is more about what the other Big 12 teams do. They have the best RPI, but KSU, UCF, and Cincy had better conference records.

Georgia Tech losing today helps bubble teams a bit.

Is South Carolina winning to stay alive a threat to our spot?

We would play Dallas Baptist. Okie St gets Lamar; Lamar could beat them too.

LSU is a 99.9% lock at this point, unless sone really crazy things happen in other conferences and we went 0-2 and our RPI dropped in the 30s even then we would still have a solid chance. We are no longer on the bubble.

Thank you! I just wanted SC to lose and unfortunately they didn’t. I guess we want Vandy to lose this one? And Ole
miss?

As things stand now, I believe all 11 will get in if Vanderbilt win, if Vanderbilt lose I think they will be first four out.
Florida lose they will be 50/50 and watching other conferences heavily.

As for Ole Miss, I think they would have to win the entire tournament to make postseason.

While I agree with you, their metrics are good enough to keep them on the bubble. A lot of the bubble teams haven't performed well in the last week in a half away from the SEC.
If the SEC does not get 11 they will be the team out. I could see them getting in tho.

My OP is updated 6:25 pm 5/21. I will redo all the RPI's once all the important games are completed today. I added 1-0 / 0-1 next to people who were on the bubble. I posted results at the bottom on the Day 1 Schedule.

Mike kept all the important game results posted while I was busy

Florida doesn’t deserve to be in at 28-27. if they had one more loss they wouldn’t even be eligible

My point was just that it would be a tough bracket for them with those three teams

I know it doesn't work like this and the results speak to the contrary, but Florida is still a dangerous team.

I feel like Indiana fell under D1Baseball's radar. They are a win or 2 from really looking like a realistic team to be in.

Georgia Tech and Louisville both losing today is opening up opportunities on the bubble. If Indiana makes a run and a few others fall flat, they might have a shot at one of the last spots.

Cincinnati scores 3 in the bottom of the 9th to tie it at 5-5 and send it to extras.
