Does anybody care about March and April pro baseball outside of opening day?

If he’s one of the main reasons this team makes the playoffs he should be in the mix.

Jap pitcher from the cubs is 5-0 with a sub 1 ERA and WHIP. He can pitch a whole season too seeing that he's 30.

Words of advice: When insulting someone, always know proper grammar. Because if you don’t, you look like the real loser.
But yes, I am losing weight, so my pants are a little looser. Thanks for noticing.

Stay in your lane, dude. That's not how MLB works. Skenes is clearly talented, but that is way premature.

Considering he'll likely be shut down before the end of the season due to innings restrictions I think it highly unlikely.

Isn’t the Cubs rookie the favorite for the Cy Young right now He'll win ROY

The cubs pitcher?

No one cares about a 30 year old with a middle of the road arm and took forever to make it over here.

He will swoon in the second half as hitters adjust.

Hitters won’t adjust as well to 101.

That 30 year old that no one cares about is currently dominating the MLB. The guy throws a 92 mph fastball that has made hitters look absolutely foolish. That pitch is considered the most valuable pitch in all of baseball this year. The dude has a great repertoire of pitches and locates as well as anyone. Velo isn’t everything….some guys can just flat out pitch.

He’ll have an ERA over 4 in the second half and then y’all cubbies will have yet another “member when”

He threw 120 innings last year. He could easily throw 150+ this year. He probably won’t be limited much since he started late. In the minors they only throw about 3 innings per start.

He hasn't been the best rookie pitcher so far this season. And he's not going to have the numbers to beat Zach Wheeler

He's obviously really good but he's not even the best pitcher on his own team right now. Ranger Suarez has pitched out of his mind so far and if the season ended now he wins the Cy Young easily.

As of today he has the lowest ERA through 9 starts in the History of MLB baseball….

I’m sure it just a fluke though since Adam Banks thinks so

It is. Don’t worry.

He couldn’t get out of AAAA across the pond until he was 30. Much better have come before him.

So a worthless stat about the first 9 starts is yes a fluke and w product of his age. He will regress and since he’s throwing low 90s the regression will be painful.
