Regal has a thing where they play mystery movies on Mondays. You don't know what it is until it starts.
Today it was Babes. It had a couple of laughs but I don't think it deserves its 100% on rotten tomatoes.
About five people walked out but I stuck through to the end.
I doubt there is much interest here for this movie but my opinion wait for it to stream it won't be in theaters long.

There was a guess it was gonna be Hit Man, Babes, or back in black. There was no hint just an x and an emoji (maybe that was the hint) Amc regal does the same thing and I found out at six it was gonna be babes from Reddit. Was disappointed because I wanted to see hit man.

How was the Furiosa trailer?

Wait…

You guys go to the movie theater and pay to see a random movie and you don’t know what movie you’re gonna get?

What is the upside?

I was thinking it would be Hitman as well.
Or some random horror movie. Babes comes out Friday and usually the mystery movie is something further out.

I didn't pay. I have the unlimited movies for $18 deal. If you do pay it's $5 instead of $11 though.

I avidly wanted to do that but the fall guy started a half hour earlier. I wanted to see Tarot too and I regret not walking over to it. I like that they gave out free Furiosa RPX/IMAX upgrades.

Unlimited is a good deal but I see they make their money back on concessions.

AMC's program is called Screen Unseen. They'll tell you in advance when it's going to be a horror movie.

There's a cottage industry on social media about anticipating which movie it might end up being.

I honestly have only done it twice. I guess if the movie starts and you don't like the title or don't want to see it. You could just see anther movie starting at the same time.
. I stuck with it but should have left to see even Kung Fu panda 4.

I have absolutely 0 problem with her and think she’s talented but you cast Ilana Glazer and you’re mostly guaranteed high critic scores. Rough night is the exception and I actually enjoy that one.

That's a cool idea, provided they curate their movies decently.
