Saban Files Cease & Desist Order: UAW Illicitly Used Likeness To Support Unionization…

Any MB worker who votes “yes” is voting for a fundamentally dishonest organization. This is but another testament to that fact.
Nick Saban says UAW ad used his comments 'entirely out of context' — 'I do not personally endorse the UAW or its campaign'
On the eve of the vote for Mercedes-Benz workers in Vance to join the United Auto Workers (UAW), former Alabama head football coach Nick Saban asked the UAW to take down an advertisement that he says misused his comments and image.
Per Saban, who owns seven Mercedes-Benz dealerships across multiple states, the advertisement uses his comments "entirely out of context" and without his permission. He added that he doesn't "personally endorse the UAW or its campaign."
"I recently learned the United Autoworkers (UAW) union has taken the liberty of featuring my comments in advertisements released as part of its campaign to organize workers at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. (MBUSI)," Saban said in a statement on Sunday. "Not only were these comments taken entirely out of context, they were also being used without my knowledge or permission. I do not personally endorse the UAW or its campaign and have asked the UAW to remove any advertisements featuring me from circulation."
He added, "I encourage all Team Members to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming election."
Rivals University of Alabama and Auburn University also both sent a rare joint statement to the UAW for copyright infringement in their ads.
"The United Auto Workers are currently infringing on the intellectual property rights of The University of Alabama and Auburn University by using our trademarks without our endorsement or permission," the joint statement read.

Sheeple love unions.

It's getting heated at Mercedes. Just got a new president and he's urging them to give him time to fix things before bringing in the union. I have firsthand knowledge of what's going on there. The UAW posted all the names of the people that signed union cards and those people are pissed. Mercedes doesn't need the UAW and I hope the workers vote no.

I remember vividly the day I turned against unions.
It was in the early 2000s, and there was a pretty widespread strike going on among grocery worker unions.
I had been going to the same grocery store for 15+ years and got to know the deli clerk very well. I’d talk to him every Sunday while waiting for my cold cuts. I legit would call him a friend.
Well, he was picketing on the line. I walked through the picket line, politely, to enter the store. I saw him approach me from the corner of my eye. He stood close to me and flat out said “wow, you disgust me”
In my opinion, the union turned him into an angry, covetous man who, like Marx wanted, began to view the world through a class warfare lens.
Unions turn good people into nothing but economic actors who hate those with more than them

UAW got processed.
So did the employees at a Nissan distribution center in NJ — by the UAW.
They recently voted to decertify UAW membership only 4 short years after unionization.
Somerset, NJ, Nissan Employees Overwhelmingly Vote Out UAW Union Bosses: Nearly 70% of distribution center employees voted against UAW, vote proceeded despite last-minute contract ratification by union officials and management…

Unions protect those that are unwilling to work.
That’s about all they’re good for.
