Just knew that was coming when he put Minter in to close, particularly with Nimmo coming up with RISP. Minter shouldn't close ever.

The one fricking game I get to watch because it's on ESPN instead of bally.

Oh well indeed.

The Braves losing Sunday Night Baseball. A tale as old as time.

This team is very average right now. Amazing they win as much as they do with minimal run production and bad base running. Starting pitching can’t keep carrying it.

Beyond the bats slumping, something just feels off about this team.. Granted, something felt off about the 2021 team at this point to, but still, I know the record is good but we’re missing something

Ronnie, Mike, Matt and "the closer" are really the only thing dragging this team.

Hopefully the 1st 3 will get it going the closer is what it is.

Maybe it’s that, maybe it’s Strider, maybe it’s as simple as our best hitters anchoring the offense in the worst way.

Idk, but I feel a little uneasy about this season

AJ Minter has a career save percentage of 59%

The worst save percentage in baseball last year among closers was 74%

Honestly. The more I think about this the more I get mad.

Snitker knows his splits in the 9th. It’s night/day. I posted this last week I think:

quote:

Career 2.55 in 8th inning, 4.41 ERA in the 9th…

I don’t understand the managers thinking like this. It’s not gonna happen, Minter won’t all of a sudden know how to pitch in the 9th.

This is on Snit
