Or he’s guarding a superior player with a higher usage, so of course his foul rate would increase.

You guys really think an obnoxious complaining coach gets favorable calls? Not the case.in today’s NBA you get better results from just talking to an official about a problem. In the games I watch that seems to be the smarter approach.

Postseason permits more contact, counter is to force contact and draw fouls if they're playing you like that. Team can help by setting off-ball screens to free up your player. Dort's been in the league for a while and is a very good but not an all NBA defender that he looked like against the Pels. Dallas has been helping to free up Luca but once Luca gets the ball he'll shoot or maintain his dribble driving into midrange. I think the whole universe knows the Pels elbow action.
