Beef rib, not available

Smoked pork ribs, not available

At 2pm on a Saturday.

Pit Room FTW

Bonus, the Patio has a unique take on crawfish, spicy deliciousness

Do they not serve this, or were they out at 2pm on a Saturday? That’s a huge difference.

You need to get in line before they open. I don’t even live there and I know that.

No mention of brisket. Those of us from LA don’t need to go to TX for crawfish or ribs or chicken. We go for the TX brisket and the different sausage. Anything cooked in TX can and usually is better in LA. Except brisket.

A top 5 BBQ place in the state, located right smack in the fricking middle of the state’s largest city is sold out of popular menu items by 2pm on a Saturday…I’m shocked.

This all makes sense. Top notch bbq places sell out usually pretty early on busy days.

Seems like they do sell BBQ. So well, in fact, that they run out. At 2pm. On a Saturday.

Guy shows up three hours after opening and mad that some top items are out.

Go enjoy some Rudy's.

I can’t imagine going to a BBQ joint at 2pm on a Saturday and being surprised that some items are sold out

My wife(no pics) and I spent a couple months in Houston. We went to Truths two weeks ago. We also went to Kileens (right by Truths), Goode Co, Pit Room, and Papas.

The best BBQ was undoubtedly Truths. Brisket and pulled pork were awesome as well as their beans and tater tot casserole. We got a dessert to go (slice of chocolate cake).

I live in La but I know that getting into Truths on the weekend was a no-go for us. So we went on a Wednesday about 1:30. They still had everything and we had a great time.
