Civil forfeiture laws permit the federal and state governments to seize and often permanently keep vehicles, real estate and other property alleged to have been used to carry out or facilitate a crime - even when the owner has not been convicted or even charged with a criminal offense.

So what is this tard kavanaughs rationale?
Due process requires a timely retention hearing and 14 months satisfies that?
SFP: the justice system totally isn't trash

Wait until you read M’intosh.
Land transfers from Native Americans to private individuals are void. When a tract of land has been acquired through conquest, and the property of most people who live there arise from the conquest, the people who have been conquered have a right to live on the land but cannot transfer title to the land.

There are many bad scotus decisions and not just on political preferences
Rowe was horrible
Korematsu
Plessy
Many many others ... this one bothers me with the power to delay property for over a year without a charge is untenable

Now do RICO. They seize everything upon indictment.

While the Roe v Wade 2022 decision was the correct call to send it back to the states, it was done at the wrong time during midterms.

Wickard
The board might need some elaboration.
Wickard v Filmore ruled that a farmer violated the commerce clause when he grew more wheat than he was authorized. He argued that the additional wheat never entered the market - it was used to feed his cows.
USSC ruled that the extra wheat supplies a need of the man who grew it which would otherwise be reflected by purchases in the open market, which meant that it affected interstate commerce.
So if we grow our own vegetables, that also violates the commerce clause too, right?
frick those commie bastards.

People don't realize that what that decision says is the legislature needs to get to work on what they are telling you is fricked up.
