No one has said it is not.
It's not illegal for me to ride my bike down Siegen Lane at 5PM on a Friday either.
You're comparing riding a bike with a constitutional right.
quote:And those rights don't excuse this equally dumbass murderer. They both fricked up, now one is dead, and the other must go to jail for the rest of his life.
We have our rights, but that doesn't excuse you from being a dumbass in how you chose to use them, and having your rights doesn't just automatically prevent other people from breaking the law against you when you're a lawful idiot.
Fair is fair. Who doesn't love fairness?

that's not at all what i'm comparing. That's what you are trying to compare, which is why you don't understand.
Actions have consequences, even when your actions are legally right. Can you not grasp this concept? I know the DisplacedBrain can't.

when did i say it did? Why is this part so difficult to understand?
Literally no one has said what the cop did was ok and he should have no repercussions for his actions.

quote:You did compare it. You quite literally made that comparison. You're the one that's gotten your arse handed to you this whole thread with your nonsensical argument. Well, you and the baldona guy who thinks he can enter property, then shoot a man inside of his home and come out of it hunky-dory just because the homeowner had a firearm. Then you come in behind him with bombastic, sensational straw men bullshite like,
that's not at all what i'm comparing. That's what you are trying to compare, which is why you don't understand.

quote:And you want people to take you seriously?
SO you want to live in a world where it's acceptable for you to answer your door every single time with your gun in your hand and nothing happens to you ever?
quote:that's what your smooth brain isn't comprehending: You're putting the responsibility of the man being murdered solely on the legal gun owner.
when did i say it did? Why is this part so difficult to understand?

Literally no one has said what the cop did was ok and he should have no repercussions for his actions.
I'll answer, and let's just be honest here, you're arguing in circles, getting emotional, making straw men, etc. because you believe in sucking off a hero officer's dick, no matter what.
As for me? This agent of the state needs 20 to life without parole.

This Teddy clown is still arguing this shite?

NO
That's what you are doing to my words.
I am not SOLELY blaming the gun owner. I have said this multiple times, as well as the fault on the cop.

and there it is. You think i love all cops.
That's why you are all morons. You're blind hatred for everything cops do doesn't allow you to place any blame on anyone but them.

and i woudn't argue against that.

THAT THE HOMEOWNER IS AN IDIOT FOR ANSWERING THE DOOR IN THE LEGAL MANNER IN WHICH HE DID.

Classic.
By the way, I happen to give law enforcement the benefit of the doubt and haven't commented on that side of it.
I just think anyone looking to blame the victim is a retard.

I love that you actually do what you accuse us morons of doing, and are so damn smarmy about it.

Haven't read the whole thread, but has it been determined he actually answered the door?
That's not what the article says.

Oh yeah?
Tell me again where i don't place any blame on the cop?
You can't say that he answered the door like a moron and the cop is 100% to blame.
I say he answered the door like a moron and the cop is still in the wrong for what he did.

I am unsure about this one at this stage of it but I will say that it is a horrible outcome

Watch the bodycam.
And assume anything Crump says is a lie.
It's bad enough without that a-hole putting his BS spin on it.

It looks like terrible decision making by the young man (I believe in the right to carry). The problem is we don’t know if he had headphones prior to answering the door so he didn’t know who was banging etc. Carrying a weapon to the door though is a tough call.
That said I didn’t see the pistol move I just saw his right hand come up as if to ward off the LE. The rest is history.
All I know is I was taught that if you bring a gun you better intend on using it, that simple. Other than that put it away, it’s not a toy.

Watched the longer bodycam
Woman specifically says 1401 as the apartment number
Is that the correct info and who is the woman?
Do we have the 911 call? Who made the call?
Announces Sheriffs office on 2nd knock while out of view of door and again on the 3rd knock while possibly appearing to be in view of peephole

Rewind a bit from there to the first time he asks her what apartment. She pauses and says she doesn’t know. Then after telling him it’s 1401 she says “go up to the 4th floor and it’ll be on this side” but 1401 is actually on the opposite side.
It seems like she must be a manager at the complex or something but I haven’t seen it confirmed. It also doesn’t sound like she was the one who heard/observed the alleged domestic dispute. She keeps referring to the girl who called and how that girl told her it was “out of hand.”
According to Crump, the airman was alone in his apartment on a FaceTime call someone when the cop knocked. TIFWIW (there have already been other details that have proven to be untrue based on the bodycam) but there’s nothing to indicate anyone else was in the apartment as of right now. So it certainly seems like it wasn’t the right unit.

Do we have the 911 call? Who made the call?
I haven’t seen it, but based on the points above I suspect either:
A) A neighbor (who isn’t shown in the video) who observed or heard a domestic dispute called the lady shown on the bodycam, who then called the cops.. or,
B) A neighbor called both the cops and the lady shown on the bodycam.
I’m sure it will come out, and will be interesting to see whether the 911 call gave an apartment number.

Why the frick did they have to put “a Black” in front of his name?
