Couplet on velocity is not as strong right now. Hopefully it continues to trend in that direction.

I swear baws. Every time I have a bad feeling about storms it always involves my family. My stepbrother, his wife and two kids are in Thompsons Station and this monster is passing to the South of them. I ran to the phone to call him and I don’t think they were watching the news.
I know a lot of people in the Nashville area and it looks like it’s on the path to hit Murfreesboro.

Close call for Thompsons Station. It probably passed 5-6 miles south of there. Glad they’re ok.

Hope the Mule Days arena and grounds were spared.

I’m assuming a dew point of 77 and humidity at 90% is probably not a good thing.

Nope not good, indicates an unstable airmass with plenty of fuel for thunderstorms.

It’s tightening back up again.

Lovely. I’m in Little Rock on the Pulaski and saline county line. Looks like the storms will be here around 1030ish, making for a fun night of sleeping.

Stout inflow into that one.
I have a friend just North of Chapel Hill. Looks to be North of him by just a bit.

Tornado Emergency

yea that. Too many names to keep straight.
Seems like they let it cancel. The box isn’t flashing anyway. Wonder why.
I know it doesn’t really matter but still

Warning is still in effect but it’s no longer a tornado emergency or confirmed to be on the ground.
