could’ve been HPV. If one should consider, mowing box is nastier than anything that comes from a fresh can of COPE.

Way to go! My father passed away from throat cancer due to chewing tobacco. He was 55.

Just another story to keep you scared away from going back.

I’ve been dipping for ten years. About a year ago I wanted to quit like you so I did. Started dipping this herbal stuff called Smokey Mountain. I was surprised at how easy it was to quit. When my birthday came around I was out with the guys drinking and took a pinch of Copenhagen from a buddy. I caved bought a can the next day and ever since then have been dipping again. I tried to get back on the Smokey Mountain but it’s way harder this time. Good luck to you it’s not easy. I’d highly recommend an alternative like Smokey Mountain or Black Buffalo in the beginning.

Of all the vices out there, I will never understand how people dip.

Nevermind the health issues that come with it, it's repulsive as frick.

Have not put a dip in this entire year. Quit on NYE. BUT, I’m now going through 1/12 Zyn packs every couple of days. Is it better ? I have no idea. It seems to be more expensive.

After 27 years of dipping I’ve been quit for 15+ years now it gets easier. You can do it.

For context I went through a period of time in my late teens early twenties where I went through an ounce of blow a week, a hand full of Vicodin and a case of beer a day and dropping all of that was easier than getting off of Copenhagen. I quit the Friday before Labor Day 2014 and it was by far the biggest struggle I’ve ever went through. For Some stupid reason I took another pinch 3 years to the day after quitting and don’t know if I ever will stop again.

Best of luck to you. I pray that you stay strong and stick with it.

For me it started in HS baseball. I saw the ball better at the plate with a dip in where we had to hide it from the ump by chewing sunflower seeds as well. A dip relaxed me at the plate, could jump on a 1st pitch fastball with the help of nicotine. I sound like an advocate but just telling my story of how I got hooked all the way into my early 30's.

Good luck. I didn't have a very pleasant experience, but I did quit three (dipping, smoking, and drinking) at once. I'm sure it was mostly the alcohol, but the nicotine withdrawal didn't help. I got a prescription and slowly the craves went away. I do occasionally enjoy a beer or two, but no where close to how I way. Plus all the money saved is awesome.
