I have no problem throwing the book at people who damage property or physically harm someone.

My point in all of this is, be consistent. The right has cried about big tech censorship and treatment of J6ers for four years, but now wants to shut down protests they disagree with politically because of a lot of nebulous "hate," "threats," "harassment," "intimidation."

Yeah it’s worth remembering that anytime we justify taking away civil liberties for political convenience, we also justify it happening to us in the future. That said, it’s been about 6 years of cancel culture and the idea that liberal mores and values were the standard values of good people in all institutions of higher learning and major corporations, so they really set this precedent.

Of course neither side will mention that the Israel lobby in the US’s reaction to criticism setting the terms of debate in most of the mainstream press and from the leaders of both political parties is kind of proof that they have way too much power, even if their war is objectively justified

really????

You are saying the RIGHT should be consistent with this???

My gosh. The absolute lack of realism some people have. It’s amazing. Simply amazing.

You are a fricking liar. No one is shutting down peaceful protest. I welcome their protest. I want everyone to s e how the left will support Hamas and is anti-American. What you’re not allowed to do is shut down campuses and break the law.

Also, to compare how J6 protestors and these protestors are treated is sheer ignorance and gaslighting. Is the FBI tracking these people down and throwing them in jail? Are they? No, they aren’t and you know that too.

We all are asking for consistency. People on Jan. 6th who broke windows and shoved cops around are getting years in prison. Will any of these people be charged similarly? Will there be a years-long task force to identify every person present and see them prosecuted and jailed? How much effort was made to do the same for BLM protestors?

The right wants these protesters treated the same as on Jan. 6th. Police need to shoot an unarmed woman for trespassing and beat another woman to death. Anybody that touches a cop or trespasses needs to be imprisoned for a few years.

But everybody knows none of this will happen because young supporters of terrorist organizations are likely to vote Democrat.

This is persecution against a people. J6 was supposed to be a protest against stealing an election, but was sabotaged by bad actors. Probably the same people instigating this.

How long were J6thers allowed to protest for?

Hoe long are these college protests going on for?
