Say what you want about the statistics. JJ brings smart play and the will of his team mates. JL blew it for us way too many times. JJ is the way of the future. If you truly believe in JL, then we'll continue to have shitty seasons. The coaching, players and more importantly, fans, believe in JJ, not JL.
JJ > JL

and the hits just keep on coming.

fans, believe in JJ,

Sometimes I just am amazed at what people think is a legitimate point

I'm convinced the fans believed in Booty, Perilloux, Cecil Collins, Alley Broussard, Saban, Byrd, Curtis Taylor, etc

That didn't help much in the end did it? It's about success on the field, and loyalty to the program. Right now JJ is winless, and the fans believing won't change that. He's got to play better, and we'll see if he does in 10 days

Either you are a blind JL bandwagoner or a JJ Hater, or maybe both.

we're actually gonna combine them into a new QB named Jordan Lee that can make every throw, scramble, protect the ball, lead the team, interpret Les-isms, and most importantly, elicit undying fan support and confidence.

Jarrett Jefferson, has a better ring

I also think the D would play harder for him

thats good stuff right there

this whole JJ/JL thing is starting to remind me of the presidential election last month.... alot of people want JJ same reason alot of people wanted Bobama... change... not really sure what he's going to do, but somebody told them that he was good,, he shows signs of a good leader and physically fits the mold...its becoming a popularity contest... granted some of you base your opinions on fact and actually know what you are talking about,,, however most of you throw out one line insults, calling people stupid, idiots, or relatives of JL. You have officially hopped on the JJ bandwagon, and truth be known, alot of you have no idea why.

Sorta like Pres elect Barry Obama.

Way to be a rantard.

Wow. Arkansas is terrible, and is behind Auburn in SEC standings. Not to mention Lee also beat USC on the road. Definitely better than Arkansas.

(sorry for a long post)
I like both of 'em! They are both young and talented. If JL learns to throw accurately over the middle and put touch on his throws to the flats he will be great... if he learns!!! JJ will continue to progress and be a nice change of pace QB that could develop into a threat as a passer with the whole playbook.
The biggest problem with both of 'em was a lack of experience. When the opposing defense adjusted to the schemes, the turnovers and lack of production became apparent. Two examples:
1) JL throws INTs on long yardage situations at the end of the first half and in OT vs Bama. The defense forced a long yardage situation by stopping the run and forcing JL to throw over the middle. At the end of the 1st half (3rd & about 6-7) LBs walk up, Ball is snapped, LBs drop into coverage. An inexperienced QB makes a slow read which forces the ball to sail to the safety. JL had a lot of trouble finding open areas in the zones, and he would force the throws. He will get better at recognition!!!
2) JJ vs Arkansas was killing em with the roll out option run/pass! Arkansas adjusts by getting the DE to run up field on pass rush to cut off the roll out. When JJ rolls into a DE it forces a freshmen to make a quick decision - turn it up and run or get a DEEP drop and try to wing it down field! The coaches should have called some inside screens or draws to slow down the DE penetration, but that is a different topic. JJ's limited play knowledge prevented him from being an effective "pocket" passer. He will learn and improve!!!
Again, sorry for the long post. QUITE BITHCING ABOUT THE TALENT AND LOOK FORWARD TO THE FUTURE!!!!!

Jordan Jefferson has shown that he understands where to put the ball better than Lee in my opinion. That pass to Toliver in the Ole Miss game was on the money, it was high and only where a tall 6'5 guy could go up and get it.. I haven't seen Lee check off a receiver all year and Jefferson has the ability to look around the field, search for the right guy and run if he isn't there.

With Jefferson getting almost a full month to prepare I think all Tiger fans will be shocked at how well he operates the offense and how much better he is suited for Crowton's style.

J. Lee had his chance and he blew it. It's time to see what Jefferson can do.

one thing it seemed to me is that the ball gets to the receiver much faster with JJ than JL. Just an observation. Not saying who is better at this point. I do expect Lee to be much better next year. There have been a lot of freshman QB's that had very rockey freshman years but went on to be really good. Remember JL was 3rd on the depth chart not even 2nd.

So you're a rantard if you prefer a qb that limits mistakes, can actually look to the 2nd or third option receiver, has athletic ability, and a good arm?

It doesn't matter how good JJ plays bc these figs will refuse to give him any credit. They will hate on him and anyone who gets excited about his potential. Anytime there is anything postive about him BT starts this shite about how he hasn't done anything and how everyone wants to crown him blah blah blah

I wish JL the best, but isn't it saying something when the coaches are starting JJ over a healthy JL?

So a freshman QB thrust into duty that faces somes adversity has no more chances? Wow.
