re: Texas is for real

Of course they are. It's a long season and you don't get to where LSU and Texas are with luck or my mistake. The two best teams are playing for the championship. I'm sure both teams take each other very seriously.

If they did then serves them right for being that cocky to think that they could beat Arky with their 3rd best pitcher.

I don't think Coleman threw any more pitches than he would have on throwing day between starts.
Right, if you watch most games you can get a feel of what an ump is going to allow and not. Players don't care as long as they know what to expect as the game progresses. But this guy would call balls on pitches right down the middle one inning and a strike the next. I just don't think either team ever understood what was a ball and what was a strike.
My biggest complaint about tonights game

I thought the home plate ump did not do a very good job of defining the strike zone for either team. I don't think the pitchers nor the batters on either side ever understood what was going to be a ball or a strike. There were many times when the same pitch in the same spot were called balls and on then a strike.
Yea, if you saw Spence after the ASU dogpile the kid looked like he was having a heart attack after the dogpile. They even noticed him on T.V. and kept the camera on him for a time. It's really stupid especially if you have been there done that like last year and your whole goal was to get back to the series and win it instead of just being happy to be there.
re: Top 10 overrated coaches.....

How do you put any of these SEC coaches on this list. It's the SEC and there is no coach that is going to win every game that every freaking reporter thinks they are supposed to win. Especially this coming season in the SEC West. LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss and Arkansas are right now capable of beating eachother on any Saturday.
If anything Nutt is underrated. The only knock I would have on him is that he did not win more with McFadden and Jones. But he really didn't have a quarterback to go with that. Other than that he seems to win a lot of big games.
There are no coaches in any conference that have to prepare their teams to play tougher opposition week in and week out.

Why would you send him there? Just keep the inning going for gosh sake.
Coleman does not look in sync.
Can you imagine the difference in the accents of the conversation in these two dugouts?
But why is Hanover in the game?
This is absolute bullshite. It's what happens when you leave runners on base and can't hit left handed pitching.

1) Why wouldn't Mitchell look at a pitch for before going after the first thing he sees vs a pitcher he has never seen and
2) Isn't there a more experienced player you could bat in that situation other than the freshman?

Pretty rediculous that this team with this much talent has this much trouble hitting lefties. Yesterday it was a junk baller and tonight is a power guy with some movement.

This is one dead crowd.
He's an immature dumbass. Al had it right. No one believed him and thought Al was just crazy.
You missed his point all together. Congratulations!
Yes, they have fans but their still running DOS. Haven't made the jump to Windows yet.

Looks like that will go to Texas.
Saban was excellent against ULM two years ago wasn't he? Oh I'm sorry those were Shula's players. Saban is not responsible for losses only wins.

I knew Coach Mac. He was a great coach and a better person. I think he fell into a trap of being to loyal to some assistants that needed to be replaced on the offensive side of the ball. Not because they were bad coaches but every coaching staff needs new blood and ideas. None the less, I tear up if I allow myself to get to deep in thought about Coach Mac. He was a special special guy.
