Yep. Heard a historian on a podcast recently and said how everyone is over analyzing the protests of today to get clicks but this pales in comparison to the 60s and 70s and everyone today is so soft.

Said the 60s you had Vietnam, Civil rights, and JFK, MLK and RFK all assassinated and it was nonstop protests by the thousands every week.

This is fascinating to me. In an era where mental illness is such a huge issue, assassination and assassination attempts have pretty much disappeared. “Mass shootings” seem to have replaced them.

More than two billion dollars in damage was done during the last "protests", and most of it with impunity. Entire city blocks were burned to the fricking ground in multiple cities by people who had no fear of legal repercussions because those in charge couldn't be bothered to fricking give a shite.
