Kim and Danny are not related ironically enough
I thought Kim, Danny and Ricky were brothers. shite I've always thought that since I was in HS and Kim was one of Danny's assistant coaches in bball.

I don't think you understand development at all. You understand 11 year old baseball. That is all you have experienced.
Yep that’s all I have experienced and all I’ve ever trained
And good travel ball teams are not coached by HS coaches
Again you have zero clue wtf you are talking about. If you want to get into development start a new thread and I’ll be happy to get into all the details with you next week when I get home from vacation.
And yea I’m sure I sound exactly like the dad that starts his own team so his lefty kid can play SS.
It’s ok to not know, but it’s another thing to continue to act like you do

Ya’ll hate travel ball so much you turned a HS baseball thread into a travel ball shitshow

What a random arse melt in the middle of this shite-tastic thread.

Dude this thread has been about HS aged travel ball. I don’t know what you are talking about. You are so blind to all travel ball negative talk that you just don’t understand context at all.

Actually this thread WAS about a hs baseball coach resigning

Yes and due to no new information, people talked about parents and travel ball in regards to affecting a High School baseball program. Due to no new knowledge on the situation with Coach Hargess the thread evolved into a high school baseball program and how travel ball affects things. It is a normal/natural progression of the thread.

Not a melt, at all, from my experience, a fact.

quote:Spend all that money and jump through all those hoops for a 1/3 scholarship and never mind the fact that playing college baseball takes about 30 hours of work(or more) in most cases...... a baseball scholarship never pays for itself.
I get it, and I believe it. But I also understand this, the district championship won’t pay for a dime of college. All parents should be trying to if their kid wants it, get them in college playing ball. If that means transferring or doing something contradictory to the program, it sucks and isn’t the right thing, but I get it.
The real bad thing about travel ball is that the rosters are not deep enough to hold a player out or sit them for issues and the high school I was at today will dress out 28 for tonight's game. Kids don't learn consequences or accountability in travel ball(except when the whole team has to run and do up downs for a kid throwing a tanturm after K... and he has to watch whole team run )
Playing baseball to get a college education there are simply numerous easier and more economical ways.
