Just got mine in. It is 47.
What does that actually mean?

You have some plaque and a moderate chance of heart attack. You need to make lifestyle changes. How fat are you?

Where did you base this from? Site your source.
From Temple University Health:

0 — no calcification
1 to 10 — minimal calcification
11 to 100 — mild calcification
101 to 400 — moderate calcification
Over 400 — severe calcification

You should really talk to the doctor (hopefully) that ordered it. The interpretation has to be taken in context, the test is worthless without it. For instance, If you were 35 a positive test would make me concerned about your risk of heart disease in the future (possibly distant). If you’re 60, that number is much less concerning. That number certainly doesn’t mean you’re at moderate risk of a heart attack now.
Almost always the score doesn’t change what you should do. Optimizing blood pressure, insulin sensitivity, lipids, body composition, exercise, avoiding smoking remain the treatment, pretty much the basics of health. If you’re not doing one or more of those things it may be time to start.

His score is 47.
You took the above to mean he’s fat and needs a lifestyle change. Maybe ask some questions before throwing out medical advice.

I asked if he is fat. I didn't say he is fat. And if he doesn't make lifestyle changes that 47 will continue to get higher and higher as time goes on. Take a lap you don't have a clue what you are talking about.

Good advice. Thank you.
60 is in the rear view mirror, FWIW.

Is calling him fat.
Also with a moderate calcium score it could be genetic which could influence medicine over lifestyle changes.
Maybe you’re just immature. I’m not saying you’re not educated on the subject. But I have a history with it so I indeed “know what I’m talking about.”

No. I was asking how fat is he? He can be not fat, moderate fat, fat, or obese fat. It was a question. He answered.
I literally posted what it says on every single medical site about calcium score. Higher the number then lifestyle changes need to be made or they will continue to rise. You will not lower a calcium score without some lifestyle changes.
