Which former Tiger was more dominant at his craft while at LSU out of these two?

Skenes or Burrow?

That’s a tough one. Just glad both ended up at LSU. Both are stand up human beings. Humble and dedicated.

2019 Joe Burrow will never be touched in greatest season at LSU. Hell he may have had the greatest season by any one player in College football ever much less LSU.

Both helped lsu win a NC-all that matters

Skenes because his one year here he was all universe. Burrows 2nd year matches that but year 1 wasn’t that way.

This is not to take anything from Skenes, he was GREAT.
BUT burrow had arguably the best season of any QB is CFB history. Not sure Skenes had the best season as a pitcher in CBB history.

Neither would've had shite on Amp Hill, Travonte Valentine, or Jake Latz

Joe but Paul gets Livvy as a consolation prize.

It was up there. Especially considering how small the SEC strike zone was and how juiced the ball is these days. His K/9 and K:BB ratio was absurd.

One helped.
The other made it happen.
You figure out which.

If you are strictly talking about being dominant, I think it’s Skenes. Burrow was fantastic, but he had a lot of help from two first round receivers, a 2nd round receiver, and a first round running back. That’s not a knock on Burrow, but he wouldn’t have had the numbers if he didn’t have that talent surrounding him. Skenes dominated much more of a one on one nature.

The two positions are going in opposite directions. Football is changing to benefit quarterbacks greatly. In baseball, pitchers are more limited now than they were which makes it harder to break records and such.

Mondo by mile over those two

Usually these arguments are dumb.. but this is actually a good debate worthy topic.
As many have said, burrow had the greatest single season performance ever. Topped it off with the heisman and a natty.
