Kitchen Nightmares- "Amy's Baking Company"

An oldie but a goodie! My sister just asked if I had ever been there and I had forgotten about it. I regret never visiting that place in the brief time it was in business here in Scottsdale. There is no way Sammy never got laid out by a customer if it was real (which I doubt).

She and her husband were nuts.

He got deported back to Israel and she went with him.

That's putting it mildly. She was certifiably batshit crazy. I think the husband just took the first piece of pussy he could legit pay for, and she was looking for a sugar daddy, and he was trapped. But he was crazy as well.

It's age-restricted so it wouldn't let you anyways.

That episode was insane and in a good way. I miss those Nightmare shows and I am sure they had a lot of stuff staged but it was in good fun.

I think it was real. People would go there and she would act just like the show. An OT'er went up there and confirmed.
.. one crazy thing about kitchen nightmares is a new Orleans episode that's been erased. They went to Oceana in the French Quarter and had a crazy episode that worked out in the end, like always. Well this episode is IMPOSSIBLE to watch. It doesn't exist online. YouTube or streaming don't have it. But even pirate sites don't have it. No one can find the video yet it definitely exists.

I saw the episode on Facebook video years ago. I can confirm it existed. I heard that Oceana sued Fox for staging shite to make the restaurant look worse than it actually was. I mean they all say that, but the fact that Fox scrubbed the episode from existence gives some credibility to Oceana’s claim.

Back in the day this was one of the all time OT threads . A poster in Arizona went in and started chatting with her and posting about it and hilarity ensued. This was before the whole Karen meme and before we accepted that women like her were kind of an every day thing. The Israeli husband was batshit crazy too. What a couple of complete primitives.

2012 I ate at Oceana on a trip to Nola, had a catfish po-boy that was excellent, and then went for breakfast another day for a crawfish omelet, I really liked that as well. I didn't know it was a controversial place until this thread. I really want to see the episode now.

I only remember this episode because it was one of the absolute strangest pairings I've seen on the show. But I guess they were bonded by mutual delusion.
