$20 billion to US border security

Can you succinctly explain why 3 times the amount allocated to US border security was allocated to Ukraine border security?

Let's see. The "border bill" was pushed by biden/schumer and other politicians as the solution to the emergency at the southern border. When it failed, those same politicians went straight to a Ukraine funding bill, completely ignoring the southern border. Had the southern border been more important, they likely would have went straight to a "southern border" bill...
