Many stores are now automatically signing you into their wifi due to your carrier. This allows them lots of access (and under new FISA) some FED access. It is a privacy intrusion disguised as free WiFi/off loading.
ATT passpoint grabs by default. You can’t unjoin only can turn off wifi. Home Depot also does this.
Xfinity is bad as well.
I couldn't care less what info they have about me. Until my life is somehow affected by it then i don't give a shite. I hear people complain about how their personal data is being leaked on all these different media platforms all the time. There is not piece of info about me that i put out there that can be used in a harmful way against me other than my CC info which i can dispute and cancel my card and be reimbursed for

Amazing people are so proud of their ignorance.
Just because you aren't paying attention doesn't mean it isn't happening. Here are two examples from recent memory.

Well, that's certainly an opinion.
Everything from hospitals, banks, internet/cell providers, and government institutions have been hacked which has given up practically everything they know about the people they deal with. It 100% impacts you whether you know it now or not. Maybe you won't have anything negative come of it, but that is more a luck thing that anything else.

Wait until you wake up one day and some person from a foreign country is literally on your computer in front of you with access to your camera and everything personal about you. Enough access to cause you hundreds of hours to get your credit corrected or even found the one thing you don’t want anybody to know and holds it over your head for ransom.
