Yep, it’s his 9th year
ETA
Did not know he ended up there:
Former LSU outfielder Mitchell Sanford, a 2021 letterman for the Tigers, is UNO’s leading hitter, batting .400 with 15 doubles, three triples, 11 homers and 47 RBI.

Everyone loves to shite on Hurd, but in his last start, he threw 4 shutout innings against Florida before things fell apart in the 5th. In his three appearances since then, he's pitched 2.0 innings and despite giving up 4 runs, NONE of them were earned. In the Florida game, he was one good play by Bingham away from getting out of the 5th giving up only 2 runs. He's got to be the unluckiest pitcher we have. Don't get me wrong, I know he's struggled and I'm happy to see Ack on Sundays. But this team needs Hurd to get reps and get better.

Agreed. Hopefully he’s got his stuff tonight and gain some confidence.

Kling has been hitting the ball the last couple of week finally. Jay is determined to keep Neal in the lineup. I'm sure Neal will knock the cover off of the ball tonight to solidify his lineup spot for the weekend.

I’ve had enough 1KNeal for the rest of the season. Even if his bat comes around.

Why is Kling still starting?

His glove in my opinion, plus I think CJJ is thinking his batting skills will finally improve.
