How would that be different from any other year? I'm just saying that there's a noticeable uptick in kids choosing to stay in-state but not at LSU. These are good kids who are actively choosing these smaller schools.

Do we have the data that shows this phenomenon is happening at a higher rate this year than years prior or is this just anecdotal evidence?

I have heard from some parents than LSU seemingly isn't recruiting students from the local areas as hard as they have before so that could be a factor. But my kid is far from college age and I'm far removed from college myself so I haven't really kept my finger on the pulse of the situation admittedly. Now I'm kind of genuinely curious.
